Family Events May 11th, Sat (9am-3pm) DeKalb Back Alley Market is back with 125 Vendors with antique and collecticables and hand crafted items with Live music, food trucks and demonstrations. Pets and kids are welcome. Located at Palmer Ct & 2nd S in DeKalb. May 11th, Sat (11am - 2pm) Tamales Los Girasoles Grand Opening with Tinez Taco with two dollar tacos and two dollar tamales from 11 am to 2pm. 4199 IL-38, Malta, IL May 11th, Sat (5-10pm) Food Truck Fest at Midwest Sportsplex 212 W Woodlawn Ave in Hinckley, IL May 12th, Sun (8am-3pm) Sunday at Sandwich Antique and boutique vendor. Early Bird admission is $10 between 7-8am and $5 general. Kids 12 and under are free. May 18th, Sat (6:30-9:30pm) May Community Board Game Night. Bring yourself or bring yourself and and a game to play. There are veteran players and new players. Local Foodie Nation is starting a giveaway club to encourage others to shop at our participating local businesses. It’s Free to get started. Currently you can get entries by joining up and inviting friends. This month’s drawing will be a “Less-Hater’s, More Tater’s T-Shirt and the drawing will occur the first week of the month of June.
